Did you know AmerCable was once the leading solar cable producer in North America? While we never completely got out of the business, foreign competition and shifting market conditions significantly reduced our production levels. Now, with international supply chains continually disrupted and the development of AmerCable’s new photovoltaic cable manufacturing process, we are reintroducing our AmerSol PV line. 

AmerSol Type PV is a single-conductor cable designed for simple, everyday solar applications such as connection to module junction boxes and required cable routing in balance-of-system (BOS) integration. This UL 4703 listed cable, available in up to 30,000 ft lengths for 10AWG, is manufactured to provide consistent, reliable quality in the harshest solar applications.
