AmerCable has been Acquired by Mattr!

On Jan 2, 2025, Nexans AmerCable was acquired from Nexans by Mattr, a publicly held company (TSX: MATR) based in Toronto, Canada. Mattr is a global materials technology company broadly serving critical infrastructure markets, including transportation, communication, water management, energy and electrification. Through its two business segments, Composite Technologies and Connection Technologies, Mattr offers highly engineered solutions, technology and products that support infrastructure projects and markets worldwide.

Mike Reeves, Mattr President and CEO, shared: "The addition of AmerCable to our portfolio positions Mattr as a premier provider of highly engineered wire and cable technologies across the North American marketplace. We are excited to welcome the talented employees of AmerCable to the Mattr team."

The company will now operate as AmerCable once again.
